About E.D. Hughes Excavating Inc.

In 1977, Doyle and Harriet Hughes set out to start an excavating company that could provide high-quality work. Known today as E.D. Excavating Inc., our company provides excavation, demolition, sewers and septic services for many happy customers.

When the company was first founded, Doyle was working with a company that constructed highways and dams while Harriet was working as a teacher for a local school. They put a down payment on a dump truck and leased a front-end loader. After designing and completing their first parking lot, the new company went on to complete many projects.

Since then, Jim Tice has taken over the business. The company continues to have the same vision and goals as when it was founded. E.D. Hughes Excavating Inc. provides professional services from technicians who are:

Efficient                                                     Highly trained
Knowledgeable                                        Safety conscious
